Talib Kweli: "I'm On One" f. CyHi Da Prynce
Considering Talib Kweli usually takes a year or two between his releases, you wouldn't be wrong in assuming we wouldn't be hearing new music from him this quickly. I mean, he did just drop off his very good independent album, Gutter Rainbows, two weeks ago. But the BKMC has a mixtape in the works with DJ Smallz called Northern Lights, Southern Smoke that is likely to relatively soon. We're not entirely sure of who else will be on the project, but we do know that, it boasts a remix of Gutter Rainbows-banger "I'm On One" that now features a verse from CyHi Da Prynce. The G.O.O.D. Music representative's rhymes are heavy on the wordplay and chuckles, which might serve as a throwback to his breakthrough verse on Kanye West's "So Appalled."
