It would appear that the promotional push behind Talib Kweli's Gutter Rainbows is officially in full effect. At the beginning of last week, he released the gritty visuals for pseudo-Beastie Boys throwback "I'm On One" and within five days we have more visuals off the album. This time around they're for the Ski Beatz-produced highlight "Cold Rain," one of the record's more serious cuts. And like those for "I'm On One," the visuals for "Cold Rain" complement the (dire) tone and (apocalyptic) subject matter within the track. They also put Kweli in the role of the last man on Earth as he gets his I Am Legend/The Book Of Eli on throughout the video.
Gutter Rainbows drops Jan. 25.
