Talib Kweli: "Back It Up (Start It Up Freestyle)"
This new track off of Kweli's forthcoming Southern Smoke, Nothern Lights mixtape is a freestyle over Lloyd Banks "Start It Up". Kweli has taken the Cardiak-produced track in a different direction, though. Instead of cars (or whatever the hell Banks was rapping about), Kweli raps about personal space before injecting, "Back it Up. Beep. Beep." over and over again for the chorus.
Not sure if Kweli meant it to be funny, but this might confirm that he is the biggest dork in hip-hop (stare at above photo while listening). Which is at least 1/5th of the reason why we love him so much.
