Centurions and cowboys take on modern military (in tiny plastic form) in the video for Takka Takka’s “Silence,” from their new LP, Migration. Things take a turn for the weird when it becomes apparent the battlefield is people lying on a bed.
The song showcases Takka Takka’s new polyrhythmic direction pretty nicely, and the song features guest percussion from the National’s Bryan Devendorf, and additional instrumentation from Lee Sargent of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
Migration is out now via Ernest Jenning. [Stereogum]
