Taken by Trees: "Watch the Waves" (MP3)

"Watch the Waves" is the first advance track from East of Eden, the sophomore LP from ex-Concretes singer Victoria Bergsman's solo project, Taken by Trees. Considered by itself, "Watch the Waves" suggests that East of Eden will be a more upbeat record than the drowsy, affecting Open Field, but your moodier artists always like to reel listeners into the sadfest with a bouncy advance track.

East of Eden is out Sept. 8 on Rough Trade. Noah Lennox (aka Panda Bear) sings on album track "Anna." [GVSB]
