Washington, D.C. continues to be on the come-up in the hip-hop world. While there were guys repping the region prior to Wale's explosion, it's hard not to give him props to thrusting D.C. into the spotlight via his killer mixtapes and solid debut. And one of his pals, fellow rapper Tabi Bonney, is ready to break through as well.
Bonney's dropping his A Place Called Stardom with a notable co-sign from Mick Boogie. And if a track like the funky, subwoofer-friendly "Bonafide" is any indication, this will be a mixtape you will want to grab. Not to mention the fact that Wale stops by for a bouncy guest verse full of braggadocio and style.
