When a song is about taking shirts off, the song's video doesn't need much of a narrative arc, since IT'S A SONG ABOUT TAKING SHIRTS OFF. But apparently T-Pain felt that the song needed a T-shirt drive in the video to make everything make sense, which, of course, is ridiculous. Songs about taking shirts off sell themselves; they don't need T-shirt drives, which don't even exist in real life, to make the videos "mean" something. Also, "take your shirt off and spin it like a helicopter,"is lifted from a Robert Frost poem. T-Pain is deep.
T-Pain's new album, Revolver, is forthcoming.
