Swizz Beatz: "We Keep It Rockin'" f. Maino, Jadakiss, Jim Jones & Joell Ortiz
We've pointed out the influence Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Fridays series has had on Swizz Beatz' Monster Mondays endeavor, but his latest installment one ups the comparisons. It's an epic posse cut, with a surprisingly spry verse from Jim Jones, a verse from Swizzy that sounds like what he would have written had he appeared on West's "Monster," serviceable Jadakiss and Maino appearances, and a slam dunk at the end from perpetual slam-dunker Joell Ortiz. Oh, and the beat? It's a rehash of Tupac's "California Love," altered to be about New York. Yep. Give it a listen below.
