Swizz Beatz: 'Monster Mondays Vol. 1' (Mixtape)
Like many other hip-hop artists these days -- from Kanye West to Rock to Snoop Dogg -- producer and sometimes-rapper Swizz Beatz used his web presence to establish a weekly free music series. He called it "Monster Mondays" and has given away a slew of tunes over the past few months. Not all of them have been hits, but most of the ones we have posted, Nas' "Top Down" especially, have been pretty solid. And rather than make you go back and hunt down a link for each track, Swizzy compiled them all into the Monster Mondays Vol. 1 mixtape. It features songs with Alicia Keys, Rick Ross, DMX, Eve, Busta Rhymes, Pusha T, and Rakim, among many others.
