Swizz Beatz: "Bad One" f. Busta Rhymes
"Bad One" might just be the weirdest track to come out of Swizz Beatz's Monster Mondays series. Over a military drum part, science fiction synths float menacingly and a whistle blasts every now and then. Busta Rhymes turns in a trio of nicely inspired verses, while Swizzy keeps himself dedicated to chorus duties. It kind of seems like Swizz Beatz was aiming for the widescreen weirdness of some of Kanye's G.O.O.D. Friday songs in terms of beat selection, but also attempted to put his own stamp on things.
