Which "big-voiced" singers have Susan Boyle's pure clarity of tone, and the ability to maintain power and tone on ONE note for a significant length of time?

No vocal gymnastics needed to hide lack of breath control or other technical deficiencies - because she doesn't have them. As a trained singer I can tell you, Susan Boyle is more than a "big voice," she's technically superior to just about every voice out there. No tricks or showmanship needed - just pure vocals backed up by a stunning emotional interpretation.

Susan has an amazing voice n did a great job with this classic from the Rolling Stones. God has blessed us all by giving her this beautiful voice. Good luck to you Susan

It's really hard to reply to an idiot like Chris, but I shall try. Susan Boyle is a great singer period. Do opera singers write the operas, violinists the concertos, etc. Rock and rollers started to write their own songs because they didn't have the money to pay royalties. Susan didn't write Wild Horses, but she brought of depth of meaning to the lyric that Mick and Keith never imagined. They will rake in the royalties because she has transformed their song into a haunting ballad of love and loss. It will be a standard years after they are gone.

She can't write lyrics he said, For your information the stones would still not be heard of if there first 5 hits had not been covers. They did not write there first song until 1965. And if your idea of a class singer is mick jagger then you really have no clue. I have seen the stones 4 times live and he was atrocious on every one of them.Plus i have almost all there cd's. Susan Boyle is a brilliant singer who brings depth to her music that touches the soul. I listen to her each day and get goosebumps every time I do. I think Chris's comments are misguided.

Susan's rendition is far superior to the Stones and the original. I listened to the Stones' version the other day to be fair , and I could barely understand a word Mick Jagger was singing. He sounded terrible.
