Florida's Surfer Blood, who have their debut album Astro Coast due in January, stopped by Seattle's KEXP studios to play "Swim," their big-league blast of power-pop that sounds like someone finally decided to record a proper follow-up to The Blue Album. Incessantly catchy with a easy-going bridge, their performance is spot on and, minus the recorded version's massive vocal reverb, easily captures the track's in-studio feel. [Pitchfork]
