In the new video for "Floating Vibes," the opening track from Surfer Blood's debut album Astro Coast, the band performs the song while assuming the roles of several different television stereotypes. There's the mustachioed news anchor, the short-tempered home improvement guy, the unbelievably awkward home shopping network type, and of course, the cooking show host whose recipe apparently completely revolves around the use of canned meat. Directors G. Warner and Ralphael Blanco throw a layer of VHS static on top of the whole thing to give it more of that found footage look.
