Superchunk: "Digging For Something"
The more things change the more they stay the same: Stereogum has a stream of "Digging for Something," the first single from Superchunk's upcoming comeback album, Majesty Shredding, and it's suddenly 1993 up in here. Mountain Goats' John Darnielle guests in the backing vocals, but this all power-pop majesty, hooks upon hooks. Oh oh oh, indeed.
Majesty Shredding is due out on Sept. 14 via Merge. The "Digging for Something" single is due out on July 13.
