The greatest Welsh band of all time, Super Furry Animals, are set to undertake a number of North American tour dates to coincide with their ATP New York appearance in September. The band members also recently announced their participation in the forthcoming series of the popular Yo Gabba Gabba show.

In the meantime, here’s a video from their Dark Days/Light Years album. “Mountain” is a surprisingly straightforward performance clip that lacks the visual invention of their previous visual efforts. Perhaps the recession has hit hard? Nevertheless, “Mountain” is an infernally catchy tune that proves they can still write wonderfully bittersweet pop songs.
