“Sun Was High (So Was I)” (Video)

Best Coast’s “Sun Was I (So Was I)” is lo-fi gaze standout tinged with just enough euphoria to put you in an opiate haze for a few minutes past it’s 2-and-a-half minute length, guaranteed you listen to it with the sun in your face. The track’s accompanying video (which is probably fan made) takes clips from 1966 film “Un Homme et Une Femme” by Claude Lelouche, and drags the bittersweet feel way out of the background of Best Coast’s track and puts it right in the forefront.
