"Black Sheep," the first single from Frenchkiss-signed Suckers' debut album, Wild Smile, is now streaming over at Pitchfork. The song is a delirious Modest Mouse-influenced buzzer, like every song from Suckers' short oeuvre. It's got a real cult party around a fire vibe. Frenchkiss is really trying to dominate this thing called indie rock--first they lock down the likes of Antlers, Passion Pit and Local Natives, then they hit up Suckers. They might be emerging as the preeminent indie label.
Wild Smile is due out on June 8.
