I maintain what I wrote about Strong Arm Steady's Arms & Hammers when its latest single, "When Darkness Falls," leaked in February -- the album is destined to be one of the top sleepers of the year. The West Coast stalwarts clearly haven't let that slow down their promotional game as they released these visuals for "When Darkness Falls" this morning. What's not so clear here is why directors Mike Rosen and Topshelf Junior chose this airplane junkyard setting for the video. It's not that the barren landscape doesn't complement the snarling guitars and down-but-not-out lyrical theme. It just seems kind of...random.
Arms & Hammers is out now.
