Trite title perhaps, but this Waco, Texas underground hip-hop trio makes up for it across its free EP. It's been three years since we last heard from Strange Fruit Project. And it was then that rapper-producer Symbolyc One (or S1) and rappers Myth and Myone garnered critical acclaim for 2006's The Healing. But they suddenly dropped off the underground hip-hop radar. Sure, S1 made some beats for and rapped with like-minded MCs, such as Braille, but fans of Strange Fruit Project's spiritual, fun, and overall enjoyable tunes wanted another album. Well, we it's not here just yet. In the mean time, we have Making Art Sound Kool, the prelude to a full-length record due in 2010.
