“Stop Me” (Prod. Just Blaze)

With his sophomore album, Reloaded, ready to impact this coming Tuesday, Nov. 13, Roc Marciano drops an atomic bomb of a track on the hip-hop world with “Stop Me,” produced by none other than Just Bla(aaa)ze. It ain’t quite the booming score we’re used to hearing from the guy who brought us “Public Service Announcement,” but the joint does take a more subdued (yet nonetheless funky) approach, perfectly complimenting Marci’s buttermilk wordplay: “I’m hard like a taste of whiskey, move like a gypsy/ In a blue Ken Griffey, pull out the doohickey.”

Unfortunately, this track won’t feature on Reloaded—which only convinces us further that the material that did make the cut will be pretty fucking devastating.
