If you've been following his career, you might have noticed how Midwestern MC Stalley has progressively gotten better in a short period of time. While I enjoyed his output prior to his joining the DD172 crew, it's clear that his joining that collective has had quite the influence on his writing and raps. It could be the whole friendly competition thing that has also led to Curren$y, Smoke DZA, and others upping the ante as of late.
And for for the visuals accompanying "Harsh Ave," we get another look behind the scenes of the DD172 studio rather than a proper video. And aside from a few shots of Ski on the kit, we mostly watch as Stalley stands behind the mic and spits stream-of-consciousness autobiographical rhymes dealing with his come-up in the rap game.
"Harsh Ave" is off Stalley's upcoming untitled album, which also has no release date as of yet.
