The visuals for this track off Stalley's The Autobiography came together as a way of commemorating the forthcoming fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Apparently, the director, Brandan "BMike" Odums, was inspired to shoot the above video because he felt "Babblin'," a jazzy tune produced by J. Rawls, unintentionally provided a rather accurate depiction of the current division within New Orleans. The result is a beautifully shot set of visuals that feature Stalley traversing the city. Peep the guest appearance by New Orleans native Jay Electronica, which I'm hoping leads to more collaborations between these two MCs. If you can remember, they are due to work together in that likely never-going-to-happen super group Center Edge Territory.
