It's been a while since we heard from Annie Clark, the sweet-voiced gal who plays music as St. Vincent, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been busy. Clark has been finishing up two new records due out soon: a collaboration with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne and a solo follow-up to 2009's Actor. And in January she performed at the Sundance Film Festival, where she played a cover of "Some of Them Are Old," off of Brian Eno's Here Come the Warm Jets (listen to the original here).
It's a live recording, which adds to the smoky coffeehouse vibe of St. Vincent's performance, and her shimmery noise effects are a good touch. Unfortunately, the stream ends somewhat abruptly, but if her upcoming recorded material is as pleasant as this, it'll be a good year for St. Vincent fans.
