Last night, St. Vincent's Annie Clark, dressed in formal evening wear, led her band through a set at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art that included a handful of new songs from her upcoming Strange Mercy LP. The videos have predictably hit the net, and now they're here for you to watch. Above, we have "Surgeon," Strange Mercy's lead single and blissed out ripper. Then, below, we have "Cheerleader," a meaty stomper, "Champagne Year," the definition of a slow burner, and "Year of the Tiger," the best of the bunch. This just lept up our list of most anticipated albums. Am I right, guys? Strange Mercy is due out on Sept. 13. [P4K]
