Saturday night's Sufjan Stevens-curated installment of the BAM Takeover series was already plenty cool to begin with, but it jumped up another notch when Stevens himself took the stage to join cohort St. Vincent in a cover of Phil Collins' classic-rock radio staple "In the Air Tonight."
Shockingly, considering how many camera-phone toting fans were undoubtedly in the audience, all that currently exists in terms of YouTube documentation is a lone, crappy-quality 30-second clip. Come on, people, get on the stick. Perhaps those in attendance were too busy pretending they didn't love the song before Suf-'n'-Vince's version made it socially acceptable to play air drums along with the lead-in to that last chorus unironically. An unfair assessment? Prove it by stepping up to the virtual plate and posting a better clip. [Stereogum]
