Spoon: "Written In Reverse" (Video)

Who would have thought that "Written in Reverse" was really about the phenomenon of words being in reverse when you look into a mirror? Not me, and apparently not Britt Daniel, who claims that he doesn't actually "know" what his lyrics are about. In the released-today clip for Transference single "Written in Reverse," Daniel and the rest of his Spoons rock out in black and white in front of a mirror. Like most things Spoon, this is simplistic, reassuring, and new-yet-familiar.
