Spoon took to Canada's QTV in their promotional blitz for their solid Transference, and instead of trotting out "Written in Reverse" for the 20th time, they opted for a stirring acoustic take of "The Mystery Zone." It didn't occur to me until now how amazing a SpoonUnplugged episode would be; their songs become more emotionally fraught removed of their jaunty instrumentation. Basically anything in their back catalog would slay. Great stuff here.
