Spoon was one of the last bands Jay Reatard toured with before his untimely death at the beginning of this year, so it's not all that surprising to see the Texans paying tribute to the inflammatory punk rocker by covering one of his tracks live this past Sunday. "No Time" is a heavily lo-fi song that features just Reatard and his guitar, and can be found on his Matador Singles '08 collection. Spoon don't do much to change the original besides fill it out with more instruments, but the sentiment is still there.
