Spoon: "Got Nuffin'" (Live On Letterman) (Video)

Spoon's Transference hasn't set the world on fire quite like Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, but the understated publicity and mentions suit the record just fine; it's a mellow record that builds a mood more than anything. The band played just their second late night show behind the album on Letterman last night, busting out the rocking "Got Nuffin'," which is an excellent choice, since it's maybe the most late-night friendly joint on the album. Check the guitar solos, they really wail. Spoon have this innate ability to make their performances look effortless, which they show off here. There's nary a bead of sweat anywhere. Many lolz go to the "fine young band from Austin" comment from Letterman. Spoon might as well be Blogosphere Classic Rock at this point.
