“Sorry” F. Andre 3000

Andre 3000 is the undisputed champ of guest verses. While we wonder if and when he’ll come out with another album of music, Three Stacks sporadically pops up on a track and leaves us shaking our heads in disbelief. Despite these sky high expectations, he delivers again and again.

On T.I.’s “Sorry,” Andre annihilates the track with a very personal verse. These lines about Big Boi are just a few of the amazing lines from the track: “And this the type of shit that’ll make you call your rap partner and say ‘I’m sorry I’m awkward, my fault for fuckin’ up the tours.’ I hated all the attention so I ran from it. Fuck it if we did, but I hope we ain’t lose no fans from it.”

While all the attention will likely go to the Andre 3000 guest spot, T.I. also delivers on the best track we’ve heard to date from Trouble Man. This is vintage Tip all over the song, he even references the net critics again with the line “nevermind what the blogs say.”

“Sorry” was produced by Jazze Pha and Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head out will be released on Atlantic/Grand Hustle on Dec. 18.

Update: Watch T.I. discuss creating “Sorry” with Andre 3000. “Hey, 3000 called. He said he’s coming up here. ‘I know we’ve been trying to do this song since 2006, but today I’m ready.'”
