Glasgow outfit Sons & Daughters released their Mirror Mirror album earlier this year, which featured a subtle evolution of their sound. There’s a more overt pop direction on much of the material, as demonstrated by “Rose Red” (above), which showcases Adele Bethel’s strong range and the band’s way with spiky guitar-oriented song structures. The video finds the singer alone in a red dress in a deserted house, throwing some shapes and eventually breaking out into a dance as the intensity of the song builds in a Siouxsie-like manner.
