Last week, Sonic Youth were on Later...With Jools Holland performing "What We Know," a track from their upcoming The Eternal, but it turns out the band also performed their excellent "Teen Age Riot" (aka the first song on their landmark Daydream Nation LP aka one of the best songs to play on Rock Band 2), video of which has just hit the net. It never ceases to amaze me at how great Sonic Youth are at replicating the rush of their older songs, and this shortened version of "Teen Age Riot" is no exception.
The Eternal is due out on June 9 via Matador. [Pitchfork]
