Sonic Youth: The Eternal Sampler (Stream)

Sonc Youth have got a new album, The Eternal, coming out in June, and the band have released a sampler MP3 that features tidbits of the album's 12 tracks to Newsweek. There's not much to go on--only two and a half minutes--but the bits that are here sound like vintage, guitar squall Sonic Youth.

The Eternal is due out on June 9 via Matador. [via Pitchfork]
