Snoop Dogg has arrived with the next entry in his #PuffPuffPassTuesday series that, if I remember correctly, has only actually dropped on a Tuesday two times. Semantics aside, his latest track, "Platinum," is a menacing club banger that features Lex Luger actually (kind of) changing up his production game. It's still just as heavy and hard-hitting as his other beats, but it's not nearly as orchestral. And it's a fine complement to the rapping and singing from Snoop and R. Kelly, particularly the former who sounds fired up spitting scattered double-time bars. Hearing him do that really took me back and I bet you will get that same nostalgic feeling. If not, you're probably too distracted by the bass. Or you can't stop rewinding Kelly's ridiculous verses.
