While two of this group's original members have passed away (J Dilla and Baatin), Slum Village continues as a hip-hop institution. And "Dope Man," a joint that's equally grimy and shiny, is the latest from these Detroit natives. It's the first track heard off SV's upcoming EP, The Villa Manifesto, that's set to drop Dec. 8. Here's hoping the rest of the project sounds as good as this.
