What better act to book on a late night talk show in the pre Halloween season than Slipknot? Their masks may be less scary than yore, and their act has certainly been toned down over the years, but that just about made them acceptable fodder for Jimmy Kimmel’s show on Friday (Oct. 30).

“Snuff” is about as close as Slipknot get to a traditional metal ballad—it’s not quite in the same class as “More Than Words” by Extreme, but it’s surprisingly close, especially when singer Corey Taylor starts crooning along at the beginning. Yes, it’s official: Slipknot are pussies.
