Joker's known primarily as a dubstep DJ and producer, but his rework of this track from Simian Mobile Disco's Temporary Pleasures, sounds just a little bit more like glitchy R&B than dubstep, especially on the chorus. That might just be due to the fact that Joker keeps guest vocalist Beth Ditto's typically soulful vocal pretty much intact. Joker even employs the rubber-y cough syrup bass that seems to be all over every dubstep track, but here it doesn't slowdown the track at all. You still can't really play this and expect people to dance, but not everything has to be ready for the floor. [Bigstereo]
