Grammy nominees Silversun Pickups helped bring Conan O’Brien's show one step closer to 2010 on Monday (Dec. 21) with this version of “Substitution” from their Swoon album. It’s been quite a year for the band, who reached No. 7 on the Billboard chart with the record.
“Substitution” was the second single to be lifted from Swoon, and this well-drilled and efficient performance could probably have been carried out blindfolded, with the band-members’ hands tied behind their backs. Silversun Pickups are now set to head out on a tour with Muse across the U.S. in the spring.
I love their debut album, and their second album kinda sounds the same except that I hate it. Go figure.
