Sigur Ros: Gobbledigook (Live with special guests Björk & Ólöf Arnalds (Video))

Iceland seems like the place to be -- just ask Quentin Tarantino. But if a famous director’s recommendation isn’t enough to convince you, then let the amazing music win you over. This live clip from the Náttúra show in Reykjavík makes it seem like everything’s great there. Sure, the free concert was held to raise awareness that invasive aluminum smelting is destroying Iceland’s environment, but you wouldn’t know it by how happy Sigur Rós and guests Björk and Ólöf Arnalds (Múm) seem playing “Gobbledigook.” If I didn’t know any better I would have thought it was a benefit for smelting instead of against it.
