In November, Sigur Ros are releasing Inni, a concert film culled from the band's last performance before going on an indefinite hiatus. The film isn't a straight-forward rendering though: Director Vincent Morisset filmed the band digitally, refilmed it on a projection screen with handheld objects, and then screwed around with effects to give the whole thing a found footage vibe. NPR premiered the first footage from the film today, and it's above for you to watch. It features the band performing "Festival" and it's really, really great. Sigur Ros might not come back for a while, but if the results of the band's hiatus are this great, we're fine with that.
