The video for Sian Alice Group's "Close to the Ground" has an eerie, experimental western film vibe to it, as the group is shot in a barren field, wandering around like they're alternately lost or tripping on peyote. Then there's some uncomfortable shots of a bunny running on a street coupled with a sinking feeling that he's about to get crushed by a semi. Thankfully he doesn't, but you do get to see a lion devour some prey.
"Close to the Ground" is on Sian Alice Group's Troubled, Shaken Etc., which is out now via The Social Registry. [Pitchfork]
