It turns out A.V. Club's Holiday Undercover was open to people not just doing Christmas songs: The only requirement was that it was sorta holiday related. Shearwater (via frontman Jonathan Meiburg) are the first to go outside the box, as Meiburg does a haunting take of Randy Newman's "God's Song" while wrapped in Christmas lights.
