She & Him: "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" (Smiths Cover) (Stream)

If you're a 16-year old girl with 10+ pairs of leggings, a recent passion for photography, a desire to move to New York and a love of F. Scott Fitzgerald, you might want to stuff some tissues down your pants or something: She & Him's cover of the Smiths' "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want," slated to appear on the soundtrack for indie darling Zooey Deschanel's 500 Days of Summer, is streaming over at Stereogum. It's a pretty faithful cover, with the most notable difference being Deschanel's voice substituted for Moz's, but that's what makes the kids go wild, right?
