Sharon Van Etten: "Like A Diamond" (Glass Ghost Cover)
Sharon Van Etten is in the midst of finishing up a two-month tour that brought her across the majority of the U.S. and parts of Canada. But before she takes a break from the road -- only to go back out for some festival dates -- she has found time to put together this cover of Glass Ghost's "Like a Diamond." But the Brooklyn act hasn't left the track only in her capable hands as they too appear on here. The cover retains the dreaminess, percussion, and keys of the original with the only real difference being Van Etten's vocals. It's not a bad cover by any means. It's just that nothing much has changed.
