In today's Dark Was The Night stream, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings bring their crusty soul to Shuggie Otis' "Inspiration Information," a song from the album of the same name that was recently re-released on David Byrne's Luaka Bop. Jones and her band amp the song up--with Jones taking vocal runs, and her band's added muscle improves Otis' lighter original.

Like all Dark Was The Night tracks, "Inspiration Information" is only streaming today (February 3), so go here to have a listen.
