Amy Winehouse appears to be struggling to record a follow-up to her best selling album Back to Black, and she might be wise to look up her former collaborators Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings to lend a helping hand. The band performed “100 Days, 100 Nights” on Craig Ferguson’s show on Friday night (August 7).
The album of the same name is nearly two years old but the Dap-Kings are still working tirelessly to promote it. Jones sounds in fine voice on this performance, and Ferguson’s audience laps up her retro soul stylings as the song progresses, particularly when the singer demands her band “slow it down” at the 1:50 mark.
