Shark?: "Down Low" (Prefix Premiere)

Hailing from Brooklyn, garage rockers Shark? are prepping to release their debut cassette (yes, you read that right, cassette) via Old Flame Records on July 24. Entitled True Waste, the collection of songs is charmingly grungy and minimalistic.

In June, the lo-fi post punk outfit shared the LP's first single, "Slap-Dash," and today is sharing "Down Low." The track features shining, dueling guitars and Kevin Diamond's deep, monotone vocals (think Interpol's Paul Banks). But though the song is raw and full of static, it's pretty damn catchy.

Listen to "Down Low" below.
