“See Me Now” f. Beyonce & Uncle Charlie Wilson

No word if this will be the second single from Kanye West’s fifth and still untitled album, but he just let this track loose via his caps lock-laden blog. “See Me Now” finds him flaunting some rhymes that are equally steeped in reminiscing and celebrating the good life he now apparently lives. He’s joined by guests Beyonce and Uncle Charlie Wilson, who both provide portions of the hook along with a mini-bridge toward the end from B. The best part might be the soulful production, though, which is the collaborative effort of Yeezy, his mentor No I.D., and Lex Luger. To be fair, this is sounding like a nice album-ending track, especially with the last two minutes essentially being an extended outro. But I still can’t help but be a little unimpressed with Kanye’s lyrics here.
