Scissor Sisters brought their current live show to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday (Sept. 7), performing “Any Which Way” from the new album, Night Work. It’s a mixture of Jake Shears’ incredibly high falsetto, Chic-ed out guitars, bloopy analog synths and a driving baseline, all topped off with some theatrical flourishes from the band.
This comfortably fits into the nostalgic retro-disco theme the group has been plowing ahead with since day one, and they’re consummate pros at it now, with Shears and Ana Matronic coordinating dance moves in front of a crowd packed with devotees—some of whom have brought along giant scissors for the occasion.
