School of Seven Bells: Connjur (Live on Stereogum's Decomposed) (Video)

Yesterday, Stereogum unveiled a new web program called Decomposed that takes indie bands and has them perform simpler/acoustic versions of their songs (like Unplugged for the blogosphere). On the premiere episode is School Of Seven Bells, who do a handful of tracks from their pretty solid debut, Alpinisms, "Connjur" being the easy highlight. The harmonies of the Deheza twins float like clouds over the insistent acoustic guitar lines of Ben Curtis. There are performances of "Caldo" and "Iamunderdisguise" here. [Stereogum]
